Matches were played against Argyll Bowling Club home and away on the 17th of April 2021.

Bournemouth BC won the morning and afternoon matches played at Argyll 7 - 3 and the score was also 7 - 3 to Bournemouth BC for those matches played at Meyrick Park.

Short match reports for the games played at Argyll are below:

Peter Crowe, Lucy Baksa and Sandra Simmonds - after a good tussle lost 10-16.

Sherry Lyn Gerrard. Tina Dix and Alan Staniford - won 12-11 in a shortened match.

Alice Crowe, Jim Melling and John Clifford - had a convincing 29-12 win.

Heather Carr, Steve Dix and Geoff Jones - were leading 8-7 after 7 ends, but lost only two more ends to finish 35-10 winners.

Rob Morgan, Bruce Barrell and Geoff Jones - led 16-3 and held off a determined fightback from their Argyll opponents to win 16-14.

Brian Carr, Fred Bees and John Morris - had a humdinger of a match but finally succumbed to a 16-13 defeat.

John Mansell, John Jerzak and Alistair Wilson - had a disastrous start, and at one stage were 23-0 down. However, they stuck to their task and won the second half 10-5 to reduce the deficit to 28-10.

Martin Hannah, Neil Bird and Roger Baksa - were neck and neck throughout the match but finished strong to snatch a 17-15 victory.

John Trafford, Terry Warren and Paul Bedford - came up against a strong Argyll trio and soon found themselves 7-0 down. They fought back and got within a couple of shots, but their opponents regained their composure to win 16-10.

Our guest rink from Knyveton Gardens, Lloyd Hemming, Biddy Parkinson and Richard Handyside – led from start to finish to land a comfortable 19-12 victory.

Short match reports for the games played at Meyrick Park are below:

Annie Bugiel, John Barclay, Viv Mansell - won the match.

Yvonne Dawson, Roy Bray, John Buckley - won the match.

Geoff Emeny, Val Hoban, Liz Bingley - snatched victory on the last end to win 16 – 15.

Maria Morgan, Krys Bugiel, Colin Bingley - neck and neck all the way, but gradually pulled away during the final run-in to win convincingly 19 – 13.

Geoff Emeny, Chris Stone, Bill Belcher had a very close match, but prevailed in the end to claim the victory.

Jim Dustan, John Buckley, Vic Druce literally led all through the match against their strongest rink, and again claimed the victory.

Maria Morgan, John Barclay, Colin Bingley had a slow start and were 9 - 1 down but then started a great fight back to only lose by 1 shot at the end of the match.

John Clifford, Darren Dyer, Chris Dowding, struggled to maintain any foothold during the match and lost heavily.

Tina Dix / Maria Morgan, George Smith, Gerry Potts won the match on the back green by a two shot victory (Thanks to Tina and Maria standing in at the last moment).

Krys Bugiel, Barry James, Roy Bray lost heavily on the back green.

The next friendly is on the 24th of April against Pelhams Bowling Club.
